Is any one else sick of the New Zealand actors? The bad accents and accent slips are really anoying me. Some of the accents are extreamly bad. Take Ronny for example, in Once a Ranger she had less of an American accent than Xander. In Overdrive the only rangers that had a good American accent were British. I heard some one say that there were rumors of Power Rangers moving to Canada. I don't care if they move the show to Canada, I think they need to move it to a country with an accent closer to America's.

Any thoughts?

P.S. I know this is more a rant than a topic, but I had to get it out.

Cost is the important thing here, if they can afford to move it then they may but if it was too costly to move and work in the new area...then it wont happen.

Because every one followed Disney to New Zealand, it is becoming costly, which is why the rumors started.

The move is still a might be rumor....we just haven't heard anymore about it since we first heard the rumor. I"m sure we'll find out more eventually near the end of the year

Seriously, their budget excuse will never be fixed. They moved production to New Zealand to cut down costs and STILL they reduced the number of episodes due to budget "problems"? They need to give PR more budget.

And RyanRXP, you said exactly what I was thinking. No offense meant to any New Zealanders lurking about, but I'm sick and tired of the move to New Zealand and all the problems it brings up. The actors and them having to cover up accents... how about we actually see some acting and practicality rather screaming "yaah!" all the time?

So yeah, Disney should move Power Rangers... and not to the Antarctic either.

Xander is Australian and I like that they kept him that way since his very thick accent was pretty hard to cover.

I can't complain about Canada, We got 4 SPD rangers(Jack, Syd, Sky and Bridge) and 1 DT(Ethan) ranger from there and they were great, so I'm open for that rumor to become a reality

That is my point. I said that Ronny's accent was so bad that Xander's natural accent sounded more American.

I wouldn't mind.

Maybe I can audition for the role of a villians voice.

I just thought, Power Rangers was not shown in New Zealand for a long time. That means that the people working, and acting on the show were not fans growing up. I see vids of Matt Austin from power morphicon, and you can clearly see that he is more excited to be there than any of the actors from New Zealand.

Either you are misreading my posts, or my english sucks more than I thought.

I know he is from Canada. I was using him as an exapmple of a Disney era ranger being excited about a show he grew up with.

Maybe Disney should move Power Rangers back to America. It make make it more believeable for the show to take place in an American city, that way.
