I've been watching Rescue Force episodes on YouTube and I really like its light, funny and the visual effects on the vehicles and the "extreme disasters" are quite amazing.

Spill about this new indie series...It's not Indie, it's from Takara, the same people behind Ryukendo.
Not sure if anyone knows, but it's also getting a movie this December.
Ugh..
Oh well..
I don't really like it because it looks like Rescue Heroes from America smashed together with Super Sentai, and then sprinkled with "Go Diego Go"..
*Shrugs.*
But that's my opinion of it. I do however like the suits.. It's nice to see a girl in red.

For any Sentai, two Sentai alummus(sp?) have appear on this show. The first one was in ep12 with the weather girl played by Nao Nagasawa (Nanami/Hurricane Blue from Hurricanger) and the second is the new villain Daaen who first appeared in ep14 is played by Keiichi Wada (Ryou/Ryuu Ranger from Dairanger).

OMG you are so right. It is just like that.
And yes it is a indie series because we won't see a 2nd season on rescue force. Same with ryukendo and pgsm.

It's not a franchise is all it's a one-shot toku much like some comics are one-shots meaning they have one issue and one issue alone. This does not mean they are not successful however the creators only strive for one issue or in this case series.

And yes it is a indie series because we won't see a 2nd season on rescue force. Same with ryukendo and pgsm.Um, no. An indie series is one made without the support of a major production studio. Jeck Geist, Zan Saber, the Wecker franchise, those are indie. Takara is a corporate production house, so it isn't an indie series. And how do you know there won't be a second series? Unless you work with the production studio or have some sort of interaction with someone who does, I doubt you can be that sure.
If it's popular enough, I'm sure there will be a second series that will somehow continue the franchise.

It's nothing like that Rescue Heroes cartoon, and comparing it to a toddler cartoon? The series has some deeper stuff than Go-Onger has going on.

OK I would not agree with that. Go-onger has gone way deeper. By the way Ryukendo was popular enough and it didn't have a second season. (How I know, every japanese show is popular.)

(How I know, every japanese show is popular.)What has Go-Onger done deeper? Episode 3 and 5 of Rescue Force are deeper than most, if not all of what Go-Onger has done.
And Ryukendo did well in toy sales at first, but then it started to fail because unlike the other shows, Ryukendo didn't air at the same time in every part of the country (the area where ratings mattered had it airing at 6AM)

Mazing! When I was watchung episode 17 I was thinking, 'Are they going to get a fifth? And wouldn't be cool if he was in black." Then I saw the previews and he was black and they got a fifth. Freaky or what!

Old news. R5 is Eiji Ishiguro, the Rescue Force's mentor, and he's already debuted. :p
Anyways, I've got some Rescue Force news, courtesy of Ryoutarou of RangerBoard.
With all the commotion over Den-O, I almost forgot about this. News!
The movie will be called Tomica Heroes Rescue Force Explosive MOVIE - Mach Train Rescue and will feature (you guessed it) a bullet train. The train and new equipment not yet shown will be movie only.

Comedy troupe Nankai Candies will guest star as the villains in the movie.

"New movie hero! The prototype R-0?"
Oh. And that's not even the coolest part. Hiroshi Fujioka? He's gonna be in the movie, and guess which prototype Rescue Force member he's rumored to play?
Also, R-1 MAX

I love this show, it's probably better than Power Rangers (not sure about Super Sentai, I haven't gotten around to watching any yet), but Rescue Force is amazing. I'm on episode 25 right now, I have to watch the subbed episode later tonight. But for anyone interested, I have an RPG forum for Rescue Force here:
