PR: Operation Overdrive (Sequel)

Miratrax had served Kamdor loyally. Although it didn't last when she was order to fight the Rangers while he searched for the fourth jewel; feeling as if Kamdor was not forthcoming with all of his plans. She considered herself an equal in their partnership, whereas Kamdor actually treated her as a subordinate. After an unsuccessful attempt at reclaiming the Octavian Chalice from the Rangers, Kamdor made Miratrix see where she fit in the schemes of things. In retaliation, Miratrix interrupted the ceremony the Rangers were holding involving the Chalice, attempting to gain its power. She was transformed into a giant owl-like monster due to its energy, and in this form had enough power to take down the BattleFleet Megazord. Ronny and Tyzonn managed to break her connection to the Chalice. After reverting back to a human form, Kamdor revealed he had been using her to do just what she had done, and imprisoned her in the jewel he had originally been sealed in.

She was casted away to an unkown location. But within that unknown location, she was once agian freed from a new ally. He had discovered her in a cave and was able to unlock her from the necklace. Since then the man who found her has been forever loyal to her side. Kiratrax had since then trained herself harder than ever and has now become more powerful than Kamdor. Her new ally, Dr. Lern, whom she now calls Blazen, has also trained and learned to become a powerful warrior. Together, they have decided to take over Earth and get their revenge on the power rangers for good.

Dr. Hartfard has gotten older now and his son Mack, now completely human, has taken on the business and archeological adventures. When he heard rumors of a returns of an old enemy, he knew he needed to gather new recruits to defeat her as the new power rangers, operation overdrive.

Pr. Natalie Valliant
It was a delightful and peaceful evening at the Hartford Manor, as Natalie was laying on the sofa with her favourite book without a care in the world, unaware of what would was soon to come of her and the rest of the so called team. As she was gazing her eyes along the page of the book she was reading, it seemed as though Spencer had entered the room holding a glass of her favourite drink on a silver platter, she then motioned her free hand for Spencer to place the glass down on the table.

After Spencer had placed her glass down on the table he then exited the room, Natalie then grasped the glass with her free hand and began to sip her drink. A few minutes later Spencer had returned with a more serious look on his face as he tried to get Natalie's attention. Finally Natalie placed her book down on the table along with her drink, Spencer seemingly needing to say something to Natalie. "What is it Spencer, is something the matter?" As Natalie uttered these words Spencer regained a calm outlook as he spoke. "Yes Mistress Natalie, it seems Master Mack requires your attention with important matters..."

Spencer's comment had certainly gotten Natalie's attention as she sat up properly and responded to Spencer's comment. "I can see it from your reaction to tell me that it must be important, tell Mack that I will be there in a few moments." With that Spencer bowed to Natalie and rushed off out of the room, Natalie then considered this in her mind as Natalie then stood up and followed on behind Spencer.

It was a couple of days since Mack asked him to participate in a secret mission, and ever since he was waiting for the day when he would be called again, in the meantime he became a well-known research and historian adventurer, being a second Generation explorer has its perks. Now in his office he ponders about the current situation.

"I wonder what he meant by ''Secret Mission'', i mean im honored to be called by the heir of the Hartford Foundation, Specially Overdrive, their adventures are well documented, and thus it would help me sponsor my latest expedition, ever since i got this map i get this feeling that..."

Mr Marquez, this just came in for you said his Assistant, it was his last day as a college intern and was on his way out

"Thank you Rashid, dont forget to pick up the letters of recommendation and the grades next week, good luck with school"

After getting into his office, he opened the package, it was just a Nokia phone, sleek-silver lined, with a logo, a little familiar for him

All of a sudden, the phone started ringing

"...Hello..."

"Andrew, its Mack, my apologies for the secrecy but i need you to come to my place ASAP, there's something i need to tell you, and if the dossier i have from you is correct, you are gonna be really interested."

Mack Hartford/ Joanna:

Mack had only recently disocevered Miratrix' return and he knew he had to do something. He already contacted two others he knew would be up for the job, but at the same time he questioned how the other three would react to his suggestion. As he sat in his desk chair his daughter Joanna came in. "Hey dad, i finshed sednign out those other emails you wanted me to send. You need any other help with any thing?" He smiled and nodded no. "Thanks but i think everything is okay for now." She left and went into her room. Pausing to say hello to Natalie first.



Kent:

Kent tossed over the salad to his freind. He took a bite and smiled. This was the bets thing he had made yet. But he said that about every meal he made. He looked at the clock and decided to chakc his emaile before heading out to his new job as a provate chef for the Hartford residence. As he strolled over and looged in to the computer he received something fomr Mr Hartford himself. Telling him not to head to the kitchen but into his offfice first.

Taylor

Taylor worked hard under her dad's new 88 mustang. She was fixing the oil link that the two of them discovered recently. She slid out from under the car covered in greese and walked to the front. She was wearing a white tank top that cut off just over her belly button and a pair of tight fitting jeans. She had tennishoes on her feet. She looked at the engine and made sure everything was okay and then yelled at her dad. "Hey dad I am running across the street for some food be back in a few!" She turned around and walked across the street. She threw on a light baby blue button up shirt but let it hang. She didn't button it up at all. She walked in and walked to the counter. "yeah I need a burger with no tomatoe and a large cock and fry please!" She said paying the man. She turned waiting on her food and looked at the people int he restraunt. She looked like crap but she didn't care. She turned back and grabbed her food and walked outside to the outdoor tables to eat it.

Kent:

On his way to the Hartford residence, Kent figured he would stop and grab a lunch and then eat it later. As he parked the car and ordered. He sat outside waiting for it. As he looked around he noticed a girl around his age eating. She was pretty hot but he knew she wasnt at her best. She appeared as if she just came from working on a car or somehting. He ignored the thought then and grabbed the food and went about his way to the Harford's house. "I hope im not the last one there."

Taylor

Taylor sat and ate her food and boy was it good food too. She walked to the shop and her dad yelled out of the office. "Your phone went off!" Taylor smiled and walked to her phone. She had a new email from a weird name. She opened and read to head to Hartford's residence. She looked up and smiled. The address was included so she turned and made a b-line for the home.

Pr. Natalie Valliant
On her way to go and see Mack, Natalie bumped into his daughter Joanna who gave her greetings to Natalie before rushing off elsewhere. After watching Joanna rush off, Natalie knocked on the office door before opening the door and entering. "Hello there Mack, Spencer told me that you wanted to see me about something..." She said softly as she closed the door behind her before sitting in the chair. After sitting down she adjusted herself so her eyes were in the same line of vision as Mack's, as she awaited his response to what she had just said to him.

Andrew Marquez

His mind was a mess, aside from receiving a phone from out of the blue, he felt in the dark about his recent calling, here he was on his way to the son of Andrew Hartford, heard a lot during his formative years, not to mention that Overdrive also gave the world it's greatest protectors, The Power Rangers.

Finally he made it into the Hartford Manor, the view was amazing, vast gardens, a couple of atriums and a marvelous white house, after he got down of the car, he made it to the house, he then was received by a woman, and a gorgeous one to say the least

"Hey there...I'm...My name is Andrew, i received a message citing me here, nice to meet you"

Way to go Mr. Explorer Said shouting on his mind.

Joanna:

"Hey there...I'm...My name is Andrew, i received a message citing me here, nice to meet you" Joanna looked at him. "Head in there. Its his office. Im sure the others like you will arrive soon." she pointed the direction and continued her way into her room.

Taylor

Taylor ran as long as she could until her lungs finally told her to stop and walk some. But when she stopped she found herself in front of the Hartford Mannor. She walked up to the door and opened it. She slid in and walked around the main entrance. She looked down and noticed she was covered in greese still. SHIT! She thought to herself rolling her eyes. She walked into the room that she heard the talking in. She smiled and waved real big. "Hey I'm Taylor! I got the same Message!" Taylor said looking down. "Do you have a bathroom I can use to get cleaned up some?" She asked laughing alittle.

Mack Hartford:

Mack looked up from his desk as Natalie came in, followed by Andrew and then Taylor. And no sooner did Kent join in. "Welcome guys!" "Hey I'm Taylor! I got the same Message!" Taylor said looking down. "Do you have a bathroom I can use to get cleaned up some?" She asked laughing alittle. "Sure, we're still waiting for one more person to come." He stood up from his desk and mooved ot the front. "And im sure you all are wondering why i called you here but as soon as she returns and our missing 5th comes, all will be explained."




Kent:

Kent no sooner made his way to the mansion and no sooner did he realize that he wasnt alone. Apparently he wasnt the only one who got a weird message from Mr. Hartford. As she entered he followed the little map he was given to ise once he started to cook. But his job had to wait and he went to Mack's office to see what the message was all about. As he enetred 3 others were there. One whom he recognized right away from the restuarant. "Hey I'm Taylor! I got the same Message!" Taylor said looking down. "Do you have a bathroom I can use to get cleaned up some?" he saw her ask Mack. Mack said yes and Kent gave a little laugh. She did look like crap and its a good thing she noticed.

Taylor

Taylor slid into the bathroom and used papertowles to clean the greese and dirt off of her. Now that she was clean of dirt and greese she opened her back pack and pulled out a yellow tank top with spagetti straps and sparkles on it. She slid that on and then grabbed the new pair of jeans out and slid them on too. She looked normal now. She threw her hair into a ponytail and walked out of the bathroom. She stepped into the room and smile. "Okay thats alot better!" she said sitting down.

Ryan McClintock

Ryan woke after late. He had been out late that night, and didn't get back until about three in the morning. By the time he had woken up, the streets were already dead from the early morning rush, and Ryan was still exhausted. "Hmm, what time is?" Ryan asked in a groaning voice. CHecking the clock, he groaned and headed over to the kitchen and turned on the coffee maker. Heading back to his room, he picked up his phone and noticed he had a new text message from Mack Hartford. He wasn't sure who he was, but he decided to give the guy a call.

"Hey, I got your message, what's up?" he waited as Mack explained the situation. "Uh, sure, I can make it. See you in a little bit." Ryan hung up his phone and thought to himself Secret mission? What could he want me for? After grabbing a cup of coffee, Ryan got dressed and headed out to his car. The Hartford place was mabye 20 minutes away, and RYan was happy not to hit any traffic.

Walking up to the front door, Ryan knocked and some butler answered. "Hey dude. Ah...Mack Hartford asked me to come."

The guy looked RYan up and down, and slowly moved for him to come in. "Right this way sir." Ryan walked down to another room in the mansion, and he heard voices coming from inside. He walked in, and quickly grunted to get some attention. "Hey, uh...which one is Mr. Hartford?"

Mack Hartford:

Mack stood up and welcomed them in. "Great, you are here. But i dont accept tardyness. So we'll just go ahead and begin." He looked at the five in front of him. "Some of you may be wondering what the heck is going on well. It mostly has to do with an attack this morning. Many of you may remeber that years ago the operation overdrive rangers came to existance. Well, one of our enemies, Miratrax, was banished or so we thought. Apparently she has returned and is now stronger than ever. And has a new ally and crew with her, damage she did this morning was awful. This city is in no shape to save itself alone." He took a deep breath and continued. "I need your help. Together, we can stop her, once and for all, I would like you 5, to become my new team of power rangers."

Taylor sat there for a minute and began bursting into laughter. She couldn't help it. "Your not serious!" She said through laughing. Did he know how crazy he sounded right now? obviously not. When she realized he was serious she stood straight again. "Wait you serious?" She asked with totaly embarasment on her face.

Andrew Marquez

The words just resonated in his mind, over and over, here he stands, coming from trying to save those in need to be summoned by the Overdrive Organization and to be part of the team he has always admired:

Taking a deep breath, he shared his mind:

"If there is a threat looming it is our duty to make a stand and protect our fellow citizens, it is an honor to continue the work Overdirve has done before, giving it all to save our planet.

The only thing i can say right now is that i accept this great honor" with a smile on his face he stood proudly

Kent:

Listened intently to what Mack said. After he finished Kent just had a blank stare on his face. Suddenly the mystery girl who he saw earlier just busted out laughing and then finally realzied that Mack was being serious. "Wait you serious?" She asked with totaly embarasment on her face. "Obviously..." Kent mumbled. Then an older looking guy stood and accepted Mack's offer. "Wait! How can you just accept? I mean yea i know the power rangers and what they do, but im not cut out for the job. Besides why did you choose us?"

Taylor

Taylor looked at the guys speaking. "I'm with him! What makes us so cut out for this? Why are we the ones that have to risk our butts to save others? I mean it's kool and all but really, I don't think I am power ranger material." Taylor said turning to walk out of the room.

Mack Hartord:

As Mack listened as the others questioned his decision he straitned himself and looked at each one. "Well let's start with you then Kent. Your're a chef? cook? right? Well, you have a type of creativeness that i think that will help out the team. With your ideas that you create, you'd be unstoppable." He then turned to Taylor. "And you young lady are pretty smart and bright. Being able ot fix any kind of car especially somone like you, proves you are one worthy opponent. And Andrew...." He cleared his thraot. "You are much like me. You are an adventurer and i know you will enjoy this kind of challenge." He looked over "Then Natalie you've been with me for some years now and i have gotten to know you well enough to where i think that you owuld make a great access to the team. But last but not least Ryan. You're pretty unique. You're a professional Hover Boarder right? Im a fan and would be honered if you were part of this mission."

Taylor stoped and and looked down. She smiled and turned to face the rest of the group. What Dr. Hartford had said made her feel really good about herself. She walked slowly back to the group and stoped. "Fine then! I accept!" She said smiling.

Mack Hartford/Kent:

Mack was glad to hear two of the five accept the challenge. He then faced the others. "SO what about the rest of you guys?" Kent looked around. He figured that he would give this thing a try. Plus he couldnt help but wonder if his job would be on the line. "Count me in as well."

Ryan McClintock

Ryan listened to Mack's story about the attacks earlier, as well as the old enemy that was returning. Thinking about it, Ryan couldn't help but toss the idea around in his mind. Well, being a power ranger would be cool, but it would be really dangerous. Then again, this is bigger than me, I could make a difference. Thinking about it some more, Ryan was hesitant, but he knew he had to do it, not only for himself but everyone that had admired him during his career; no was his time to repay his fans.

"Mack, count me in. This is my chance to repay the world for what they have done for me, and it would be an honor for me to on this mission." Smiling, he thought to himslef Wow. Me. A ranger.

Pr. Natalie Valliant
At first Natalie had no real idea on how to react to what Mack has said to the group of them, however after a few moments of taking it all in she nodded to Mack. "Well then, considering all you've done for me for the past six months, the least I can do is help you with your problems, or rather the world's for that matter." She smiled somewhat and nodded once more. "So with that out of the way, you can count me in Mack."

[[OOC: Just thought I'd remind you that Mack and Natalie have only known each other for six months, not several years unless you count the years of her being a scientist.]]

Mack Hartford:

"Glad to hear that everyone has accpeted. I thank you so much!" he then grabbed a remote from the desk behind him and then tunred on the big screen. "Here is some footage of attacks that Miratrix caused back when i was a ranger. So chack it out." After a moment, Mack spoke up again. "You see she was pretty strong then, but now its even worse. Apparently she's got some serious training done and is now a serious foe. So she's the one we have to stop." He turned the TV off when the video stopped. "Come follow me. This'll be our headquarters."

He was marveled as he saw the technological marvels Overdrive has, time and time again he had to rely on cunning, old maps and truckloads of luck to reach his goals

"Global Satellites, 3D visualization programs, Archaeological Trackers, man, i remember i had to decypher a map with 3 jars of cofee, a dozen books and lots of time, but this...

Mack/ Joanna:

"Im glad to hear that you like it." he told the blue ranger. "Get used to being here becuase this is our headquarters." As he fninshed his duaghter Joanna returned. She handed him some files wich she had retreived from her room. Mack thanked her and she took her placed behind him. "These here our short mini bios on you guys. Helped me determine how you will all be rangers." He turned to introduce Joanna. "This here is my daughter Joanna, she's about your guys' age. She'll be around here helping out. For someone dear close to me has passed who used to be a great help to me and my ranger team. But Joanna here is the techno wiz so if you have any questions you can go to her too."

Taylor smiled at Mack. This was all so awesome. They were going to be spending most of their new lives in this amazing Mansion. "Yeah I have a question for you right now. When can we move in?" She said laughing. She loved making jokes.

Mack Hartford/Joannna:

Mack laughed at Taylro's comment. "You will soon enough-" but before he could finish the alarm went off. Joanna placed up a screen shwoing Miratrix and he new ally. "Dad, serious trouble." She ran to another desk and pulled out a case, containing each of the ranger's morphers. "Here you go guys." "Yes rangers please take on for yourselves. They are your morphers and they'll be able to transform you into power rangers! Good luck guys! Miratrix wont stop at anything!"


Kent:

Kent also laughed at Taylors comment. He wanted to moove in too. The place was really hooked up with connections! Kent looked at the screen Joanna suddenly placed up as an alarm went off. On the screenw as a powerfula nd strong looking woman. "I really dont wanna fight her..." he mumbled to himself. But as Joanna pulled out a case of their moorphers. He slowly took one and looked at Mack. "He cant be serious," he thought. "Alright guys..." Kent finally said. "Lets do this!"
