Replacing Rangers

If you could replace any ranger in history, with an older one, which would it be and why?

I would replace Carter with Jason. I feel that Jason has all the things that Carter/the team lacked.

I'd replace Karone with Kendrix. Surely, the team would be concerned about Kendrix's death and get all depressed and see if there was a way to 'get her back' (which there was)...then Karone'd be only temporary and the season could go on as normal.

I'd replace Jason with Carter. Carter has everything Jason doesn't - badassitude and an affinity for firearms, both of which make him extra American in my book.

I would replace Justin with Rocky, I think Rocky would have been a much better Blue Turbo Ranger. It would also avoid Rocky getting written out because of some stupid karate injury

I'd replace Justin with Rocky too. Rocky wasn't that good in MMPR but became ALOT better in Zeo, so he could've got even better in Turbo. I'd also replace Carter with Eric, because Eric would've whipped Lightspeed into shape in no time. And then, i'd have to replace Eric, so i'd choose Alex (original Time Force Red) to see him and Wes fight over Jen.

You probably didn't know this but Valerie (Kendrix) was very sick by mid Lost Galaxy and she had to leave the show for awhile until she get better.

They had to get someone to take her place for the last 14 episodes of Lost Galaxy. It was originally suppose to be Patricia Ja Lee (as Cassie) to take her place as the Pink Galactic Ranger. She did try out for the addition but the script was dropped as she couldn't do it. So they had Melody Perkins (as Karone) try out and she got it.

Valerie (Kendrix) did come back just in the last 5 mins of Journey's End part 3 as she was all better by then and Karone gave her place back as the Pink Ranger even though the rangers already put the Sabers back in the stone (thats what brought Maya's homeworld back to normal and also Kendrix too.


Anyways....

I replace Justin with Jason and Jason would give his powers to someone else by mid season that is the same age as TJ, Carlos, Cassie and Ashley.

Very good! I agree, considering Rocky is one of my favorites, and Justin is one of my worst.

Also about the replacing Carter with Jason thing. I disagree.


I don't like Lightspeed at all, and Jason is one of my favorites. When trying to avoid Lightspeed, I don't want to avoid one of my favorite rangers because he's in one of worst series.
Rangers should be remembered when they were on a high, and at their peek. Causing them to return, can damage that image.

Dude, Carter's my favorite Ranger ever. I not only agree with you, I'm willing to posit that I adore Carter more than anyone else on the board.

I'd replace Camille with Karone. I can't stand Shanahan and her character; and Karone could definitely show everyone how it's done (it would also give more props to Dai Shi, seeing the former Princess of Darkness works under him.. shows the power)

I actually like Carter, but I feel Jason was a stronger leader. Even an older Jason would add a lot to the team.

But after taking time to think about it I would Still take Jason as the leader, but I would now keep Carter, but replace Chad. Carter would still be red ranger, as he is a firefighter, and Jason would be blue.
