Who is your favorite DBZ villain?
Mine is Brolly. He didn't throw punches he just took you and threw you around.

Whew, that's a toughy... Andorid 17...and Frieza; both were so BA and just great vllains, and you're right ForeverBlack, 17 didn't look like he would or could even hurt anyone. They both were just kids and acted like arrogant jerks... great.
and if you're going by purpose GMR, Cell really didn't have one; he was just created by Dr. Gero to kill Goku who beat down his army a long time ago. He didn't know why. Out of all of them, Baby has the most purpose. The saiyans killed his people and he took revenge by taking over their 'Prince' and killing their friends.

Majin Buu had a giant sweet tooth...what's there not to love? Instead of making ashes of his foes (and allies...assuming we consider Dabura an ally), he turns them into useful things like sweets.

Saiyan Saga- Vegeta and Nappa
Cell Saga- Androids 17 & 18 and All Forms of Cell
Majin Buu Saga- Fat Buu, Thin Buu, Super Buu and Super Buu fused with Gohan, Gotenks & Piccolo
Movies- Coola, Metal Coola and Broly

Bebi, the artifical Tufflejin was an excellent villain. Sadly, he is overlooked because he features in DBGT.

Broly is probably the best movie villain, even though fanboys always exaggerate his power to vast and silly extremes.
Cell, honestly is my favorite. Because Cell was the last villain before things got.. REALLY weird..
I mean, beyond DBZ weird.. Weird..

Bio-Broly was the worst movie imo.Second Coming came a bit close.

I still say the Cell saga was the perfect ending. Plus Cell had the best theme music.

Yeah I would have been just as happy had it ended with Cell. SSJ3 was cool but it wasn't necessary.

Frieza's original thin fourth form was cool. Imperfect Cell 01, Android 16 and Perfect Cell are more of my favorites. Majin Vegeta rocks, though, and so do all Buu forms!
From GT, well, I haven't watched it, but I'd say Baby/Baby Vegeta and Super 17.

Well, to be fair, the Trunks in GT wasn't Mirai Trunks from the alternative timeline, it was Chibi Trunks from the Buu arc (who sucked, even in DBZ).
That's true..
But it doesn't explain why he turned out to be a wimp anyway. Look at Go-Ten.. He's all buff and stuff...

I enjoyed all the villains from Z, specially Freeza, Cell and Majin Boo. Besides, I really enjoyed all of their last forms (which are my favorites).

I'm gonna have to say Cell. 17 and 18 get honorable mentions since, afterall, they did kill most of the Z Fighters (in a way).

I'd have to say mine is a three-way draw between Freiza, Cell and Kid Buu. They all had their good points, and they all kicked the Z Fighters butts around.

Yeah King Cold really was a great character. But I don't like how he wasn't even hinted before at all, then suddenly appeared before getting completely killed.

Man..WHY did Vegeta/or Gohan tell Goten and Trunks that fusion still wouldn't beat 17?..seeing that would be so great.

Frieza took too long to kill the first time and not long enough the second time (when Trunks killed Metal Frieza) Buu was just a fat, pink guy, the Saiyans I think were so similar to the good guys, since Vegeta turned out to be one anyway, and Broly was just scarily huge. (Steroids, anyone?)

I think Buu was badass, but yeah he was fat...maybe that's what made him cool lol

1. Cell was the coolest looking villian.
2. You are right about Frieza, both ones.
3. I liked Broly's size. Broly looked like, and fought like, a huge bully.
4. Just putting this one out there, what about Turles? I think he may have been my favorite. All he wanted was power. I also liked how he was a lower class saiyan.

Seeing how Vegeta couldn't tell from whom Cold's ki was, then it means that Freeza's father only acted behind the shadows (more or less like Cooler in the movie), or at least he didn't have a reputation of his own in the universe's zone where Freeza was acting.

1st Vegeta - Awesome villain and a great fight.
2nd Majin Vegeta - again great villain and also a awesome fight
3rd Frieza - He was the most built up. Cell with the whole "gathered cells" story felt rushed, Buu was .... don't get me started and movies and GT are non-canon

Probably Cell. I liked his many forms and he was very powerful. The fight between him and Gohan was also one of my favorite fights of the series.

It is not the writting that I am afraid of, just the whole idea.
Watch any episode of DBZ, and then watch any movie, they are far too different. We do not have the technology, or the people to make something like DBZ.

TheDragonRanger. In Saiyanolgy, there are less mutations or variations in the genes, meaning Saiyans tend to look like each other or share similar features far too much. This is why Turles looks almost identical to Bardock and Goku even though he wasn't established to be either of them or a relation to them. You can also see it in Vegeta and Raditz, who share similar features in their face and partial hair fringe area, and they aren't related or in the same class.
While Turles had no relation to Goku apart from being a similar class, he was the representation of what Goku would have become if he carried on as Kakarot, never hitting his head during the start of Dragonball and loosing his memory. He would have been the destructive, malicious and ruthless warrior, that Turles was, that he was originally sent to Earth to be.
One word: Frieza. Though his feminine voice somewhat annoyed me since he's supposed to be the most hardcore villain DBZ had at that point, Frieza always killed his prey in cold blood and still smilin. But the most important thing about Frieza is that he brought out Goku's Super Saiyan side out for the first time, so thanks to Frieza for unintentionally making Goku even more of a godlike warrior.:D

This movie is 120 minutes (im pretty sure on that) so it won't be like the other movies at all. As for the technology, aren't they same people doing it?

I didn't know they were making another animated one. I still have to watch some of the old movies, but I might buy this new one.

LOL yea, it looks really good too, it takes place after the Z Fighters beat Majin Buu but before the events of GT
A new DBZ anime movie? (faints)
Vegeta was totally a badass villain:cool:. He didn't have any qualms over killing a teammate in the initial fight against the Z Fighters, whether a Saibaman or even Nappa. In terms of English dub voice actors for Vegeta, both Brian Drummond and Chris Sabat gave Vegeta their own unique spin which definately made both likeable and memorable:) but in the end, i prefer Brian's rendition especially during those two moments of "It's Over 9000!!!" and "You won't escape my wrath!!!";) His transition from villain to hero is definately one for the anime history books, from despising Kakarot (Goku) to being his friend/friendly rival by the end of DBZ, it's a journey that's totally worth it.
