NARRATOR: Let's go back in time to America, 1500 B.C., which is not as ancient as other civilizations...

[A jungle background fills the screen. Loud screeches and roars are heard. In the distance, a hyena laughs.]

NARRATOR: ...because America, 1500 B.C., had the Earth Protection Tribal Toa. When man and animal unite in harmony ... we have the beginning...

[A man spears a wild boar. Blood spurts. The screen fades.]

NARRATOR: ...of war. Man vs man...and the five warriors of the Ying Tribe were chosen to defend it from the evil forces of the jungle.

[A black dragon wraps around a man's body. He screams, surrounded by a golden and black glow, but it fades. He smiles evilly, and his eyes glow.]

NARRATOR: When the warriors fought, we had war.

[Four men and a woman, all in armor, armed with spears fight.]

MAN #1: Go, Toa! I shall hold them back!

MAN #2: Never, Blazing Lion! We are together!

MAN #1: No, I cannot! You must leave!

WOMAN: Who is it we fight? The enemy or our own team-mates?

MAN #3: I agree! Stop fighting while Blazing Lion and Speeding Condor argue!

MAN #1: So be it...

[Screen fades to black. Suddenly, a large claw gives the effect of ripping the black off. The POWER RANGERS logo appears on the screen. Suddenly, PRIMAL FORCE slams into place under it.]

NARRATOR: Power Rangers: Primal Fury is coming...

[Screen fades to black. Then, a few people are playing. A teen girl at a football match is cheering.]
[The screen shifts to a swimming pool where an event is being held. A young man breaks out of the water to see everyone else already out.]
[The screen shifts to a basketball court. Another young man, this one a bit younger, is racing at the basket, but the ball is snatched by the other team.]
[The screen shifts to a zoo, where a few people are still present. A young woman is closing down the cafe.]
[The screen shifts to a school gym, where a man and the class are doing pushups. The camera closes up on the face of a determined-looking student.]

NARRATOR: ....this September.

II. Plot
So, let me just give you an intro. In America 1500 B.C., the five warriors, or 'Tribal Toa', are the leaders of five of the six tribes, and they're fighting against the sixth tribe. The Toa are Blazing Lion, Determined Shark, Quick Puma, Pouncing Wolf and Elegant Ibex. The Toa are almost defeated, but they reveal their secret weapon: they actually have a 'Primal Spirit' inside them of their animal, and they sacrifice both their lives and their Primal Spirits to destroy the Sixth Tribe.
In 2009 (yes, 2009), five young teens, the descendants of the Toa, discover a cave with mysterious carved drawings on the outside. When they enter the cave, they accidentally break a large jar, which contains three generals of the Sixth Tribe who sealed themselves away before the rest of the Sixth Tribe were destroyed.
Also sealed in the cave are the Primal Spirits who did not perish but were thrown into a dormant state, and they too are unleashed. They give the teens Primal Powers. When the teens are infused with Primal Power, they gain five 'bracelets' that can act as containers for their Primal Spirits, too, as well as the super-technologized Primal Morphers, which allows the Primal Spirit and the human to together bond into a Power Ranger.

III. Ranger Profiles
Daniel McCormack, Red Lion Primal Ranger
Daniel is the descendant of Blazing Lion. He is a decent basketball player, and scores well. It's just that every time, the opposing team ends up winning because he messes up.
PRIMAL POWER: Super strength
ZORD: Primos Lion

Cody Wu, Blue Shark Primal Ranger
Cody is the descendant of Determined Shark. Like his ancestor's Toa name, Cody will never give up and has a passion for swimming, despite being a wise-cracker. But he never ends up winning, but the opposite.
PRIMAL POWER: Can harden his skin at will.
ZORD: Primos Shark

Ross Bradley, Black Wolf Primal Ranger
Ross is the descendant of Pouncing Wolf. He is the lone wolf of the gang like his ancestor's Toa name. It all comes from despite trying really hard, nobody seems to notice him.
PRIMAL POWER: Telescopic vision
ZORD: Primos Wolf

Natalie Sampson, Yellow Puma Primal Ranger
Natalie is the descendant of Quick Puma. She is shy, bookwormy, and her hobby is - no prizes for guessing - reading. Her job at the local zoo comes in handy when the Rangers have to have a 'secret meeting'.
PRIMAL POWER: Enhanced agility
ZORD: Primos Puma

Angie Wu, Pink Ibex Primal Ranger
Angie is the descendant of Elegant Ibex. She is the typical cheerleader, always optimistic and ..... uh, cheerful. She really tries and like her brother Cody, her motto is 'Never give up to a bad attitude' (no, make that 'a bit like'!).

Episode Guide

Daniel, Cody, Ross, Natalie and Angie accidentally unleash the devastating forces of the Sixth Tribe. They must use their Primal Morphers to save Angel Grove from Bovinox, who carries the Primal Spirit of the ox.
2. "Call of the Wild" Part 2
After learning how to use their Primos Zords and powers, the new Rangers find another surprise. Harrison, a mysterious man who seems to exhibit extra-ordinary powers, agrees to teach them how to master their Primos Zords' power as a team, but when Horstrike, who carries the horse Primal Spirit, attacks, they haven't mastered the art of combining their Zords yet...

POWER RANGERS: PRIMAL FORCE
Episode One
“CALL OF THE WILD” - Part 1 of 2
NARRATOR: Our story begins in America, 1500 B.C.
[A jungle scene fills the screen. We see five people - four men and a woman dressed in armor, with spears. A bracelet is attached to each of their hands.]

NARRATOR: Blazing Lion. Determined Shark.
[The camera closes up on the first two men.]

NARRATOR: Quick Puma. Pouncing Wolf.

[The camera closes up to the next two men.]

NARRATOR: And Elegant Ibex.

[The camera closes upto the woman. The scene changes. The five are fighting against an army of mysterious humanoids. The camera pans to one of the humanoids. It is dressed in a white robe, a black belt and a black mask with one artificial eye. The other eye is black.]

NARRATOR: The five Tribal Toa fight for the five tribes of America, while the sixth tribe fights to destroy. Aided by armies of MEGAROIDS ... it seems they are unstoppable.

[Suddenly, Pouncing Wolf roars. He shouts something.]

POUNCING WOLF: Attack!

[A large black energy wolf bursts out of his open palm. The others echo the cry.]

BLAZING LION, DETERMINED SHARK, QUICK PUMA & ELEGANT IBEX: Attack!

[A team of energy animals charge from their open palms. A red lion, a blue shark (making swimming movements in mid-air), a yellow puma and a pink ibex appear, and along with the Toa, they make short work of the Megaroids, before returning into their respective Toa’s palm.]

NARRATOR: Fast forward to 2009.

[The screen fades black before showing a school scene.]

NARRATOR: Daniel, Cody, Ross, Natalie and Angie have no idea what fate has in store for them. And they’re about to find an eon-old legacy.

[Screen fades black slowly before a dark-haired young man appears in a hallway. He glances up and down before running up to a door and opening it. He doesn’t notice the teacher behind him.]

TEACHER: Daniel James! How many times have you sneaked into the locker room before, hoping not to be seen? It’s detention for you, young man!

DANIEL: Sorry, Mrs. Hayes.

[The screen changes. Five people come out from a room. Daniel is among them. The others are CODY and ANGIE WU, ROSS BRADLEY and NATALIE SAMPSON.]

CODY: Yo, Daniel! This wasn’t exactly your first detention, right?

DANIEL (nodding): I got caught before ’cuz Jamie told on me.

ROSS: Yeah, Jamie Arthur is a sneak.

ANGIE (hotly): He stinks!

NATALIE: Who?

DANIEL, CODY, ROSS and ANGIE (split-screen): Jamie Arthur!

NATALIE: Who is Jamie Arthur?

ROSS (hotly): A sneak.

ANGIE: Whatever. Bye.

CODY: Yo, Angie, get over here! You forgot we have to get over to the woods!

ANGIE: What for?

CODY: Hey, that dumb assignment!

DANIEL: Awww....I haven’t done it either.

NATALIE: Neither have I.

ROSS: Join the club.

ANGIE: Hey, I have another assignment!

CODY (rolling his eyes): Yeah right, an appointment at the salon or something. What a girl!

ANGIE: Well, I am!

CODY: Better go now.

[The five leave for the woods. Suddenly, Daniel trips over a branch.]

DANIEL: Whoa!

[Cody pulls him up. Daniel then sees a cave.]

DANIEL: Hey!

CODY: Weird. Let’s go in.

[He calls the others. They go in and see some drawings on the wall. The drawings depict a cobra, a leopard and a bear. There are more drawings but they are farther in, and the light is dimmer.]

CODY: Man, this is eerie...

[Angie notices a huge, strange jar.]

ANGIE: Man, that’s a humungous, mammoth, enormous jug!

CODY: Wow, that thing must be 10 feet tall! Look at those paintings on it.

[The camera zooms in. Mysterious symbols are painted. A man holding a spear raised, a cobra the size of a tree and some suits of armor are some of the other paintings, all the size they would have been in real life.]

NATALIE: Are those hieroglyphics? I’ve read about them.

CODY: Duh, you read everything.

NATALIE: There’s nothing wrong with being a bookworm!

[Suddenly, her book falls.]

NATALIE: Oh man!

[She gets on the floor and searches for it. By accident, she knocks against the jar. It crashes onto the floor, broken.]

DANIEL: That’s huge, how come it fell over so easily?

CODY: I don’t know ...

[A large black cobra with gold markings and eyes appears, slithering out of the jar. Angie screams. Two more animals, a brown bear with black eyes and a leopard in smoky silver with black spots, emerge from the cracks.]

CODY: Just our luck, to get stuck in a cave with three weirdo animals who look like they’re going to eat us any moment...

ROSS (trying to lure the leopard): Good, uh, leopard ... go away now ...

[The leopard is unimpressed. Suddenly, the cobra starts to twist around. It changes into a humanoid golden-armored figure. The humanoid lifts his hand, examining it. The leopard too changes, into a silver-and-black armored slim figure with two daggers in its belt. The bear is the last to change, turning into a brown-and-gold armored muscular armored humanoid. The bear humanoid and leopard humanoid bow to the other one]

COBRA HUMANOID: Carneopard, Arcturon, rise!

CARNEOPARD (Leopard humanoid): Lord Draxin, it is a pleasure to break out of that container, is it not?

ARCTURON: Wait, I smell descendants nearby! It has to be them! (points at the five)

DRAXIN: Who destroyed the container?

CODY, ROSS, DANIEL & ANGIE: She did! (pointing at Natalie)

DRAXIN: Worthless! I do not suppose you wish to become a ruler of the world...

NATALIE: Um, no thanks...

DRAXIN (enraged): Fool! Do not reject an offer from me!

[He points at her. A red ball appears on the tip of his finger and he ‘shoots’ it. Natalie ducks, and the blast crashes into the cave, causing the ceiling to begin to crumble.]

ARCTURON: Lord Draxin, we must make for the Dark Beast Hall! The Primal Spirits might have escaped too!

[They disappear.]

CODY: Run!

[The five race out, and a huge rock nearly crushes them. Suddenly, an energy puma - the same one seen previously - appears from behind the rock and slashes at it. The rock shatters into bits.]

NATALIE: Whoa!

[The puma turns to look at her. It speaks.]

PUMA: Natalie Sampson ... you are the ancestor of Quick Puma ....

NATALIE (amazed): It speaks!

PUMA: Of course - I am a Primal Spirit, like those of the vile Sixth Tribe generals whom you encountered.

CODY: I think he means those monsters.

PUMA: My comrades arrive.

[The four other energy animals seen previously appear, melting from the rock.]

SHARK: It’s good to be back in the real world.

IBEX: Finally, a chance to stretch our legs again!

WOLF: There will be time for chatter later.

LION: Yes, the Sixth Tribe must have been reawakened. With any luck, they will head towards Dark Beast Hall.

DANIEL: Yeah, that’s were they said they would go.

LION (noticing them for the first time): Hmmm? Descendants!

PUMA: We must find more.

SHARK: There’s no need, five are here.

LION: Hmmm ... this is a delicate matter. Perhaps we should first request them. (To Daniel and the others) Do you wish to retain your world?

DANIEL: Of course!

LION: Then you must undertake a perilous journey, but it begins with this. Will you accept the power of the Primal Spirits?

DANIEL: That’s what you guys are?

LION: Yes.

DANIEL: I accept!

[Lion turns into a small ring of energy, which slips around Daniel’s wrist. It turns into a silver bracelet. A device with numbers arranged as in a telephone appears. Lion’s voice emits from it.]

LION (through morpher): This is your Primal Morpher. With it you can transform to battle evil.

CODY: Yo, what’s happening?

[Shark explains the matter.]

SHARK: Long ago - 1500 B.C. to be exact - there were six tribes in America. The people of those tribes had attained harmony with the animal kingdom. The animals could turn into energy form like we are now in, and the humans could contain the spirits in silver bracelets like these. Then the sixth tribe suddenly absorbed their animal spirits, turning into half-human monsters like you saw, and declared war. The leaders of the tribes, named the Tribal Toa, fought bravely but they were no match for the Sixth Tribe. Then they used a secret power. They used the full strength of their animal spirits against the Sixth Tribe. Most of the generals died, and so did the Toa. However, we, being spirits, were in a dormant state. Other spirits probably were killed in physical form, so they wouldn’t go in a dormant state, but maybe a few others were in spirit form. In that case, they would be in a dormant state like us. Now, you have unleashed some Sixth Tribe generals, who, somehow, have been sealed away instead of destroyed.

CODY: Whoa....major speech, dude.

SHARK: Yeah well, it fits. After all, you’re the descendant of my old Toa.

CODY: Waaait. You’re the original spirits of the Tribal Toa.

SHARK: Didn’t I tell you we were in a dormant state?

CODY: Yeah.

SHARK: Well, dude, you want to bond?

CODY: Totally!

[Shark morphs into a ring of energy like Lion. He completes the same process, and the Primal Morpher on his wrist appears. Meanwhile, Ibex and Angie and Puma and Natalie have completed the process too. The camera pans to Wolf and Ross.]

ROSS: So, you, uh ...

WOLF: Whatever.

ROSS: We’re the only pair left so, well, I guess you don’t have much of a choice either.

[Wolf changes. Ross finds a Primal Morpher on his wrist too.]

[The scene shifts. A palace of black marble is in a huge cave on a mountain. Inside, Draxin, Carneopard and Arcturon appear.]

ARCTURON: Ah, the Dark Beast Hall ... evil as ever!

DRAXIN: Except for that crack in the floor. I suppose someone went blundering in.

CARNEOPARD: My lord, look!

[She kneels and picks up a small silver statue of an ox on a small round base.]

DRAXIN: A totem! Perfect! Arcturon, would you care to do the honors?

ARCTURON: Very well. Megaroids!

[An army of Megaroids appear, hopping and waiting for commands.]

ARCTURON: Only one must remain! Fight!

[In a few seconds, only two or three are left. Suddenly, one impales another in the chest with a spear and slashes the other’s head. The two vanish in clouds of smoke like the other destroyed ones.]

ARCTURON: Perfect! Now, take this!

[Draxin hands Arcturon the totem, and he throws it to the Megaroid. The Megaroid presses its base into the black circle on its chest. It glows and begins to change...]

[The screen shifts. Now, all five of the descendants are outside the mall, chatting. Suddenly, a roar is heard in the distance. A large, bull-like monster charges out of a building. A large brown belt is tied around his waist and his head resembles a buffalo’s skull. He is BOVINOX, the holder of the ox Primal Spirit.]

BOVINOX: Angel Grove will be crushed under my hooves!

CODY: Not if we let that happen! Ha!

[He races and uses his knowledge of Kung Fu on Bovinox. The monster kicks him and parries his backfist.]

DANIEL: Let’s go guys!

[The others, who all take Kung Fu classes, help him out. Suddenly, Daniel drives his fist hard into Bovinox’s head, throwing him backwards. A red glow surrounds his hand.]

DANIEL: Whoa! That’s major strength!

BOVINOX: Let’s take this somewhere else!

[He races down to the beach. There, Natalie suddenly spin-kicks him. To her surprise, her quick kick is faster than usual, completing the technique as her foot, glowing yellow, strikes Bovinox’s head.]

DANIEL: Super strength!

LION (through morpher): I activated your Primal Powers - they’ll enhance your body.

NATALIE: I guess my Primal Power is super-agility!

CODY: Wonder what mine is?

[Bovinox tries to kick him, but Cody raises his wrist to block it. It glows blue and suddenly a tough blue-gray layer of skin grows over it. The momentum throws Bovinox to the side.]

CODY: So mine’s ultra-tough skin!

[Angie begans to run at Bovinox for a punch, focusing on him. Suddenly, her body glows pink and she disappears. In a fraction of a second she appears in front of Bovinox and punches him.]

ANGIE: Wow, teleportation!

[Bovinox once more runs away. This time, he’s too fast.]

ROSS: He’s over there!

[He runs and punches behind a plant. To the others’ surprise, Bovinox emerges from it, angry.]

ROSS: Sweet, mine’s telescopic vision!

BOVINOX: I’ve had it!

[A large ox Primal Spirit charges out of his fist.]

BOVINOX: Buffalo Blast!

[The ox turns into an orb of brown which knocks away the five.]

DANIEL: Oh man!

LION (through morpher): He’s releasing his Primal Spirit? It’s time to morph for you! I’ve locked the instructions in your mind.

CODY: Guys, follow Daniel’s movements!

[Daniel raises his hand and strikes the air with his palm. The others follow his movements. Lion and the Spirits explode out of their respective descendants’ palms. The morph sequence begins.]

[Daniel is in a forest, completely covered in red. Lion appears out of nowhere and merges into Daniel’s body. The suit appears and Lion’s head closes over Daniel’s. The helmet appears and the visor shuts.]

DANIEL (posing): The Roaring Lion! Red Lion Primal Ranger!

[Cody is in a forest, completely covered in blue. Shark appears out of nowhere and merges into Cody’s body. The suit appears and Shark’s head closes over Cody’s. The helmet appears and the visor shuts.]

CODY (posing): The Snapping Shark! Blue Shark Primal Ranger!

[Michelle is in a forest, completely covered in yellow. Puma appears out of nowhere and merges into Michelle’s body. The suit appears and Puma’s head closes over Michelle’s. The helmet appears and the visor shuts.]

MICHELLE (posing): The Agile Puma! Yellow Puma Primal Ranger!

[Ross is in a forest, completely covered in black. Wolf appears out of nowhere and merges into Ross’s body. The suit appears and Wolf’s head closes over Ross’s. The helmet appears and the visor shuts.]

ROSS (posing): The Racing Wolf! Black Wolf Primal Ranger!

[Angie is in a forest, completely covered in yellow. Ibex appears out of nowhere and merges into Angie’s body. The suit appears and Ibex’s head closes over Angie’s. The helmet appears and the visor shuts.]

ANGIE (posing): The Leaping Ibex! Pink Ibex Primal Ranger!

[Return to the original background. The five are standing morphed.]

LION (through morpher): Now summon your weapons.

[By instinct, they find what to do in their mind.]

DANIEL: Lion Saber!

CODY: Shark Launcher!

ROSS: Wolf Blaster!

MICHELLE: Puma Shield!

ANGIE: Ibex Lance!

[They grab their weapons out of the air and attack Bovinox. He wins, even with their new advantage.]

SHARK (through morpher): Aw man, not again!

IBEX (through morpher): Let’s get outta here!

LION (through morpher): Release us by stretching your palm out.

[They do as he commands. The spirits burst out.]

WOLF: I have an idea! Why not take material form?

LION: Alright! Call for the Zords!

RANGERS: With the Power of Primos, we summon the Primal Zords!

[Lion and the others turn into the huge Zords.]

CODY: Let’s hop in!

[Natalie grabs them and teleports one by one into the Zords. When they all reach their respective Zords, they let go of her hand.]

BOVINOX: Let’s make this fair!

[The ox spirit surrounds him. He grows huge, as big as the Zords.]

CODY: All right! Now, Aqua Blast!

DANIEL: Sonic Roar!

MICHELLE: Magna Slash!

ROSS: Lunar Howl!

ANGIE: Horn Crash!

[The PRIMOS SHARK’s mouth opens and a jet of water bursts out. The PRIMOS LION roars, releasing a huge shockwave. The PRIMOS PUMA slashes at him. The PRIMOS WOLF releases a blast of silver energy from its mouth. The PRIMOS IBEX lowers its head and thrusts its horns forward. Bovinox explodes, with the combined strength. The rangers jump out and demorph. Colored explosions activate. Bovinox turns into five silver coins with a symbol of an ox on it, which they catch and drop in their morphers.]

ALL MORPHERS: Ox Coin stored.
