Ok, he's had that thing on his necklace since season 1. Obviously, it was never even referred to until Zeo (4th season). It's common knowledge that no one expected power rangers to go past 1 season so why does Tommy wear it from day one even though it has no meaning. Was it a character choice by JDF? Seriously, plus why did it take them 3 more seasons to at least mention it? Surely they could've done so in season 2...

They didn't decide untill Zeo to talk about it. In Zeo, JDF got them to put his brother in the show. The writers decided to then go into Tommy's past and they thought it would be a good place to start.

About Tommy's Arrow head half, Last time I checked he was given that by True of Heart {Not sure of the name}(The old Native American he met when he was looking for he Zeo Crystal in the 3rd to the last episode of MMPR season three [the Alien Ranger Saga]). He does have a necklace, but until Zeo Quest, tommy's arrowhead half never exsisted in tommy's timeline.

right. I just double checked. He does wear a different necklace during mmpr. I always just thought it was the arrowhead half because it does look similar.
