Do you think that the Villains should get more or less character development?
And by more or less I mean in general, not compared to what we have.
I don't want alot of character development for the villains. I think that if you try do develop them, you have a high chance of making them seem stupid.
In MMPR season 1, Rita was only there to make monsters and plan to defeat the rangers.
In Dino Thunder, Mesogog was only shown when he was needed.
In MMPR season 2, they started giving the villains more development, and they got dumb.
Ninja Storm and Time Force gave their villains families, and they anoyed me.
I think that the villains should only be there to be evil, not anything else. But those are just my opinions:)

I voted more. Like you mentioned Time force, Ransik was very well developed and it made him a better character. He was a better character because they worked hard giving him a great origin that made him almost a victim.
I voted more. It makes the villain more real when you know more about them. Like Ransik and Mesagog. I like to know my villains as well as my rangers! :D

I don't remember Mesagog being developed at all(Anton yes, Mesagog no)
All Mesagog did was fight Anton(for a few episodes) and I wouldn't call that development.
By developed, I mean like Lothor and Rita/Zedd in seasons 3-Zeo

The villains were by far the best part of MMPR3. So, more.

I think they should be more developement.. MMPR Season 2 and 3 was great because of Lord Zedd :D.. so does In Space- Astronema before she become brainwashed and SPD- Broodwing, he look very cool. as for Jungle Fury- Flit because he is good friends with RJ.

Like any character, I'd like to see them have more development...
Ransik-- Didn't like the season, but I can appreciate his backstory. Very intriguing angle for a villain.
Mesogog-- The whole Jekyl/Hyde angle was really refreshing in terms of a 'big bad'. And since Anton Mercer and Mesogog technically were the same person, any development Anton got trickled down to Mesogog.
Dai Shi-- People whine that he isn't 'strong' enough, when really he's one of the most developed PR villains I've ever seen. First posessed by an ancient evil, then slowly, Jarrod's humanity starts peaking through again. Dai Shi, realizing this, starts searching for Masters to train with to make him stronger, but through it all, Jarrod's spirit seems to be growing stronger... I really, really like that.
The more you know about a character, the more you can understand their motives and the more you can enjoy them...In my opinion, anyway.

More is always good.
More. It's cool to see why the villain A or B is doing what he doing, and it is cool to see him/her develop during the series.

more. it gets kinda old of just seeing the main villain ordering his minions around. its kool to see how the character really is.

Old, how is it old, they never just have a villian? Not since Mesagog, and before him, Zedd and Rita in the first half of season 2.

Depends - depends on the villains and depends on the episode count. If we're having 40 episodes, sure. I'd love to see some development. Less episodes than that, eh, rangers come first.
It also depends on the villains. I'd hate to see more of Rita or Divatox or the Machine Empire than we already did.
Overall, it adds to the show. So I'll pick more here.
