Modern Day MMPR?

This is just for fun. If MMPR was made today (not by disney) What do you think could be the changes?

Here's mine :

Rita would look at the world on "Google earth" instead of telescope

Evil Green Ranger wouldn't have destroyed Zordon but instead replaced him with a Rick roll

Bulk And Skull would spend there time looking up everyone in angel grove's Myspace in hopes of seeing anything that would hint at them been rangers.

Angel Grove high would have a metal detector

Billy wouldn't be able to use his flying car as the price of petrol/gas is too high for him to afford

When Tommy was evil and beat up the rangers he would say they got pwn'd

Zack would be a master at dance dance revolution

All I have to say is that it would be nowhere near as popular as it was. There are far too many restrictions, and even if it was exactly the same it would be nowhere near as popular. And Zack, Billy, Kim, and Tommy would be very different. Trini and Jason could work in todays world(not going into it that deep right now).

No dude. Though that would be fun to see and debate as I think Tommy could work today if Jason could. But this thread was for fun and jokes about it like the rick roll one I posted

Jason takes the phone from Zack.

"Wow, it's got great reception in my gramps basement!"

Billy comes down to the basement.

"How's it going Jason and, Zack?" Billy says.

"It's awesome." Jason says. "Zack's just showing me his new phone."

"Radical." Billy says.

"Radical?" Zack questions. "That's so 80's man."

"Well, awesome's sorta 90's." Jason brings up.

"Oh yeah, yesterday I got Direct TV." Billy pops this out of nowhere. "They offered free installation but, I just did it myself."

"That reminds me Kimberly got a new Apple laptop the other day." Zack mentions. "Tommy told me she spent hours trying to think of the best color to buy. She choose Pink."

Trini waltz's into the Basement. "Guys there's trouble and, we got to go."

"Why didn't you just get us on the communicators?" Billy asks.

"The Basement blocked the signal." Trini says.

"Guess, we should all use Samsung Instincts from now on." Jason mentions.

"I'll modify the Instincts to teleport us too." Billy says.

"Yeah, you can do that later Billy. People are getting killed out there you know." Trini says with haste.

"Right, right." Jason finally acknowledges. "It's Morphin' Time!"

"OMFG, you have got to see this pic that Zack sent me on this Instict phone." Kimberly shouts. (The audio is strangely higher then any explosion within the show ever will be.)
"What is it Kim?" Tommy asks as he gets the phone and, the phone has a close-up of the picture.
"It's of Zacks Youtube account. He took a picture of a video playing of him on his Youtube account. Isn't that just like, OMG."
"Yeah, it really is neat. So, my parents are going away next weekend. You want to stay at my place for a sleep-over?" Tommy asks hopefull for a night alone with Kimberly.
"Oh, sure, I'll bring Zack, Jason, Trini, and Billy along too." Kim says excited.
"Bring the guys along?" Tommy asks dissapointed.
Kim mistakes that for an aggreance and, grabs the Instinct phone from Tommy while the phone gets another close-up. "OMG! I have tottally got to text the guys right away and, tell them to get ready for a sleep-over at your place. Good thing I haven't used all my minutes yet." Kimberly's mom calls her on the phone and, tells her that they have to get some errands done and, that she's sorry for interrupting her date.
"I'm sorry Tommy but, I got to go." Kimberly kisses Tommy forceably.
"I'll be sure to text the guys on this Instinct phone." Kimberly says again loudly as she heads to her Ford truck on her way to her Mom.

Those are my favourites so far. I can actually see them happening.

- Kim and Tommy won't stay together even for that long
- Jason would have a really tough time explaining to the rebellious students the value of martial arts and how practicing that is better than facebooking/myspacing all day long.

The rangers would have pictures on their myspaces with them morphed with no helmet on.Eevryone else will think ther just being wanna-bes and dismiss it.Bulk & Skull with think that they know who the rangers really are,yet not think it was them.Strange how Bulk & Skull don't change.

Jason-Would be the gay guy who dosen't realize hes gay.
Trini-Would be the closet lesbian.
Zack-Would end up dependant on drugs or the drinker.
Billy-Would be the nice guy who never gets in trouble.
Kim-Would be mostly the same,but more of a bitch.
Tommy-Would be the loner everyone likes....and hates.

Oh and they would be extremely emo about everything.Complaining about everything and how its ruining their lives,no matter how trivial.

Goldar would take Lord Zedd to Vegas for a boy's night out... they'd get really drunk, and Zedd would wake up next to Rita with no memory of the night before, but he'd have a train on his face and a ring on his finger...

Goldar, after losing Zedd, would meet Rito, who, although he can't remember how he got to Vegas, can predict what number will come up on the roulette wheel... as long as his mind is empty. Unfortunately Goldar pressures Rito too much, and Goldar loses all the gold off his back...

Zordon, afraid that Zedd has weapons of mass destruction, has the rangers use their zords to bomb the palace on the moon... unaware that Zedd, Rita, Goldar and Rito are all on Earth. Squat and Baboo will be sadly missed...

Billboards for a new treatment for erectile dysfunction would appear all over Earth... Zedd and Rita put their staff and wand to good use and make one-eyed monsters grow...

Alpha 5 uses "Microsoft Spell Checker" and discovers there are 25 more letters in the alphabet than "I I I I I"...

A modern day version would have 5 different characters as members of the Zyurangers like Power Rangers. Green Ranger would be a older sibling of the Red Ranger, just like Zyurangers. Green Ranger would lose his power and would become the Dairangers like White Ranger in season 2. Queen Bandora would be the main villian of season 1 with King Zedd replacing her in season 2. King Zedd would not used Bandora's generals, but will have his own Dairangers like 3 generals.
